Seongsan
Famous with its magnificent view especially during the sunrise.
Seongsan Ilchulbong is a tuff cone crater that was formed
when the volcano erupted under the ocean about thousand years ago.
I am on the trip to be happy
I have been here 3 times at different seasons, with different people
I captured the different colours of Seongsan
All are distinctive and new to me
For the first time, I came with supervisors and other research mates
it was in May 2018, the rainy season in Seongsan
the peak was fully covered by mist and cold air
For the second time, I came with friends
it was in September 2018, Summer in Seongsan
the peak and the water were crystal blue
you can see the beautiful sea and sunset
houses were so tiny and people were moving like ants
This might be their best season to sell their products
Green and blue has a clear boundary in this season
for some reasons, by instinct I like blue
and sometimes, I'd like green
for some people, they like sunset rather than sunrise
maybe because they could not wake up before the sun
so they choose what is left - sunset
Sunset is beautiful
maybe because of its warm colour
that closer to your heart
the most comfortable time is the time with Seongsan's sunset, like now
For the third time, I came with families
it was in May 2019, it was rainny in Seongsan
Again, we didn't see the peak and clear sky
even so, I cherish the moment having traveled with families
we are on the trip to be happy
