Mount Hallasan

It is the highest mountain in South Korea.

The area around the mountain is a designated national park, the Hallasan National Park.

The view from the Summit will be stunning!

Hallasan is commonly considered to be one of the three main mountains of South Korea, along with Jirisan and Seoraksan.

There are a variation of plants you can see as you trekking up,

from evergreen trees to pine, then shrubs

I think May is not a suitable month for trekking, unless you like rain

The wind was really strong that day, our umbrellas were almost blowing away

even with strong wind and heavy rain, its do not stop us to trekking up. People from the top shouted "An Dae Yo" 3 times, and drawing a cross in air with his finger to hint us that we should not proceed any further in this bad weather.

in my second attempt in September, everything was fine, but we don't have enough time.

We rest too much and missed out the time to enter the route to the peak of Hallasan

Shrubs are really generous to us, it gives refreshing air to us

Although the mountain peak is near, there is still a long way to go

This is the fourth hour we have gone up the national park

Since it ’s too late, it ’s better to enjoy the moment.

We never expected that going down the mountain would be more difficult than going up the mountain

We start to miss the smooth uphill road

Despite this, we are still very optimistic,

after all, this is not a game, there is no exit button

The road down the mountain is really difficult

We even have doubts whether this is the right way

Nevertheless, we are still playing

because we have no way back

Fortunately, we ended up walking in the mountains after 11 hours and successfully descended.
